OUR VISION & MISSION

Vision & Mission

Our Vision

In using Jason Becker’s 35 year (and counting) survival of ALS as a roadmap to a very high bar of care, we will help others obtain the elements needed for optimal at-home care, resulting in longer and happier lives when living with a severely debilitating chronic or degenerative medical condition.

We will serve people with quadriplegia, ventilator dependence, impaired speech and impaired ability to eat/drink, and their families and care teams. We believe the principles of the JBCCP apply to all human beings who require care.

We will fund individual Special Needs Trusts and Able accounts that people will use to pay for caregivers and other unmet needs, and Health Savings Accounts for caregivers, to improve their access to healthcare.

Building intentional communities that prioritize care, and may serve as models for more humane and socially sustainable long-term care, urban development and planning, is our ultimate goal.

Our Mission

Apply decades of first-hand experience to the task of building sustainable at-home care communities that thrive and nurture all involved, so that those in need of optimal care, and those giving it, may continue to offer their unique gifts to the world.
